Successful and constructive ISO audit

Just now, DNV GL has completed a successful ISO audit at RIVAL without remarks. This year’s audit had digitisation on the agenda, and RIVAL received credit on that area.

The day was planned and carried out in collaboration with our production engineer Flemming Christensen. “We received positive feedback from DNV GL on our decision to increase our priority of the quality area even further by hiring Flemming as our full-time quality responsible,” CEO Henrik Holvad says.

Digitisation and order management in focus
Digitisation was one of this year’s focus areas, and RIVAL received great feedback on the latest initiatives. “We have worked determined on the area for a long time and implemented a new IT platform with a two-factor authentication to avoid cyber-attacks,” Flemming Christensen says. “Along with the management tool, Power BI, Mapaz for order management and info screens in the production, we are keeping up with the digitisation.”

On the second focus area, order management, RIVAL scored a 4 out of 5. “It is very positive with our management in Mapaz and our significantly improved delivery performance. At the same time, we have improvement opportunities in the capacity area, which we had a constructive dialogue with the two auditors about,” Flemming says. “Our entire quality management is a living system, which we use, update and continuously improve. In this way, it creates value for both our customers and internally in the company every day”, he says.
