Our environmental and climate efforts are based on data, measurement and documentation. We monitor our energy consumption and climate impact and use this information actively to identify improvement opportunities and set realistic, measurable targets.
Key objectives and focus areas include:
- Reduction of total greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 38% through energy‑efficient operations and technical improvements
- Reduction of total greenhouse gas emission from our value chain (scope 3) by 25% through sustainable procurement
- Phase‑out of fossil fuels, including the gradual discontinuation of heating oil by 2030
- Responsible use of resources and waste management, including waste sorting and proper handling
We strive to set targets that are ambitious yet realistic, and that can be documented and communicated transparently to customers, partners and other stakeholders.
Continuous improvement and collaboration
Environmental and climate improvements cannot be achieved in isolation. We therefore work closely with our employees, customers and suppliers to identify solutions that are practical and effective. Our efforts are continuously developed in line with new data, technological developments and customer requirements.
