We produce critical and costly one-off and large serial components on our six CNC lathes. We process components to the extent of Ø1250×5000 mm.
All machines have implemented a Gibbs/Mastercam CAD/CAM software.
Mori Seiki NZX 2000 is a powerful polyaxled lathe with great flexibility to process components to the extent of Ø320×810 mm.

Mori Seiki SL-45 CNC lathe
Our Mori Seiki SL-45 CNC lathe runs with lightning quick movement speeds up to 2,500 revolutions per minute. The lathe is perfect in terms of working with big components like cylinder liners to marine engines. Machine worker Frank Gustavussen found the lathe online as he thought, RIVAL was in lack of a lathe with these particular specifications. Therefore, he went to Helsingør with our foreman Glenn Scharling to test the machine and purchase it for RIVAL.
Super equipment
Frank has been working at RIVAL for more than 20 years. Through the years, he has been pleased to work with many different CNC machines in the production at RIVAL. “We have super equipment here at RIVAL, for which reason it is exciting to process critical and costly components to the customers,” Frank says. “I find it fun to spend my spare time in the woods with my brothers. In the woods we use super equipment too in the shape of a wood chipper for example.”
